About Us
This means that I specialise in photographing the built environment and people within it – an urbanite. I love looking for hidden details and capturing the essence of a place and the people who use it.
However, I do venture into the countryside from time-to-time, especially on my travels, and take interesting landscapes and travel photographs.
Photography, which has always been a passion of mine. I had my first darkroom in 1962: i even got a Duke of Edinburgh award for photography!
I undertake commissions, especially for architectural shoots, when I look for interesting details as well as recording the look and feel of a building and how it sits in the built environment.
Photography is part of the service package which is offered to over 40 practices which use this service. The practices range from large and famous to one person specialising in small projects.
My working life has been amazing: 25 years working as a contractor on major projects throughout the World: 18 years with Foster + Partners and since 2006, with my own consultancy.
My life has involved me in some very exciting projects including HSBC HQ in Hong Kong, Beijing International Airport, Wembley Stadium, St Mary Axe (The Gherkin) and recently The Postal Museum.
